The S Series runs on Koop diesel engines - 12HP in the S800, 15HP in the S1000 and a 22HP twin-cylinder in the S1200. Diesel torque at low rpm suits thick, wet vegetation and long working days, and fuel consumption stays lower than an equivalent gasoline machine over a full season. Cutting widths of 800mm, 1000mm and 1200mm match the engine steps.
